WOW! Did this new establishment hit with a bang! Relatively new to the island, Wiseguys (a member of the SERG family) is located next to Frankie Bones and keeps a steady crowd from bell to bell. A great casual feel and familiar faces and loaded with the islands best. The catch phrase “Big wines, small plates and serious cocktails” definitely doesn’t disappoint. They feature over 125 wines by the bottle and 50 by the glass and are all kept in check by the islands first wine keeping system so you know they are always fresh. The cocktail menu and full bar is very extensive and in all seriousness, is very original. Moving on to the “small plates”, all i can say is the chef is amazing! You will not be disappointed with the menu, offering gourmet snacks, fondue, pizzetas and a variety of cultural dishes to satisfy your taste buds. And what goes better than to pair it all with your favorite grapes. Guaranteed to make you talk about your experience for a long time.
Wednesday nights at WiseGuys is a night that cant be missed. “Bubbles Night” (WiseGuys version of ladies night) is in full swing. Specialty champagne cocktails, $10 off bottles of champagne from 5PM to 7PM and $3 specialty martinis. Can ya top that?? Why yes they can. Buy a glass or a bottle of champagne and your name goes into a drawing for a gift certificate to some of the Islands best spas, salons and boutiques including “All About ME, Faces, and Salon 5200. What can top a great night out?? A great day at the spa of course… Quit your whining and start wining! Pay them a visit. Principles at WiseGuys, in the form of Chef “Russell Keane“, have come up with a hospitallity night every Sunday after 8PM. It has been said that the entire food menu will have many specials for your appreciation. So, ya dont work in food and beverage or the hospitality industry? pssst! Just tell them your a facebook fan and you have “WiseGuys” as a friend and your part of their group. see? They’re pretty easy going. Check out their well laid out website for food menu, drink menu, wine by the glass or bottle and their line up of “serious” cocktails. Want more? Join the VIP Club and become a fan. Bluffton SC, 29910
What can we say? 9 Promenade is the latest dark spot to hit the downtown Bluffton scene. Their soft opening a few weeks ago was jam packed and hasn’t stopped yet. The decor has a very upscale feel with VERY reasonable prices and a cozy atmosphere. 9 Promenade badged as a martini bar serves up a full menu of drinks, great happy hour prices and some of the best small plate food in Bluffton. Happy hour is Tuesday – Saturday from 4PM-7PM and lists $3.50 cocktails, $2.25 domestic bottles, $5 specialty drinks and of course, a special happy hour food menu. Entertainment happens nightly an starts early enough so everyone can have a good time without burning the midnight oil. Stop in, sit at the bar, pick a high top, or sit in some of their cushy chairs at the low tables, grab a drink from my fav “Brandi” and have a great time.

The Tiki Hut
1 South Forest Beach Drive
Hilton Head Island, SC 29928
Ahhh, the good ol’ Tiki hut, located in Coligny Plaza and just behind the holiday Inn, it’s the place to be. After a few years in jeopardy of being torn down it looks as though we may get a few more summers out of the Island best spot. The world famous Tiki Hut is literally right on the beach and is home to all sorts of frozen concoctions that locals and tourists have come to love. My personal fave is the 24 OZ oil can of Fosters while soakin up the sun. So after a morning or afternoon of doing what ever ya had to do, throw on a bathing suit, bury your toes In the sand, watch some volleyball while listening to some of the Island’s best musicians and turn the happy hour into a late nighter. And perhaps ponder that run-on sentence just typed.
