OK, in this section I will be listing many popular Hilton Head destinations for Hilton Head night out and night time fun, hence the website name of Hilton Head Island Nightlife. It's almost impossible to start this list because there are so many places and so much to do once the sun calls it quits. I am going to say that everyone has their niche, whether it's dance clubs, piano bars, wine bars, sports pubs or outside entertainment. Without a doubt, my favorite place to be on a Saturday night. The Electric Piano is now in it's winter months and will be Open Friday and Saturday nights and offers a truly unique experience. Chris Stevers and Christian Young (C2 Experience) are favored faces every Saturday night and there will be a great rotatation of Island favorites occupying the Friday night spots. The "Brick" has been a locals bar for many years with great food and a big enough bar for all your friends to congregate and talk over a few adult beverages. A new recent change has added live entertainment in the form of Chris Stevers and Christian Young (C2 Experience) playing every Friday night circa 10 bells. Playing rockin country and southern rock, they sure have made a HUGE name for themselves. Chris on the guitar and Christian on the keys, delivering a high energy stage presence that commands you to put down your drink and hit the floor. I can assure you it's a night ya don't want to miss. Look for nightly happy hour, dinner and late night specials too! The Brick Oven has brought the stimulus package to the dining world.

Within the short time Club Sky (formerly Prana International) has been open, they have made a huge dent in the dance club destination. This club is state of the art and gives a big city feel in a small town setting. Laser shows + 50,000 watts + chill zones + cage dancing and the best decor a place could ask for = a fun night out. Not into dancing? Rack up the pool balls and play a game, relax in big comfy chairs and sofa's take a few steps and grab a beer off ice. Just looking at the visuals is good enough for anyone. OK, OK! Correct, this wings is officially NOT on the Island but I am going to mention it because it is my week day destination. Bluffton Wild Wings is always a great place to be on Thursday nights to catch The Free Shotz live rockin the house to their own unique way of blasting out all of your favorite rock songs from AC/DC, to Rage Against the Machine, to Cindy Lauper, to Poison and they will even throw in some originals to make ya drink more. Friday nights stir up a crowd thanks to the B-Town Playaz, probably one of the best bands in the Carolina's (if not the southeast.) Their endless dictionary of songs from every genre from blues, to country to rock to hairband, the Playaz know just about every song. Bluffton Live is the newest local nightlife venue to open and from what I hear and see, it won't disappoint. Largely a live local music place, it will cater to live bands and will be host to the best of the best. The line up will include Tommy Beaumont, Tim Malchek, The Headliners, etc. Bluffton Live will be open 7 days a week, with great food and the music will start early at 6PM in most cases and will stay open late. XO Lounge and HHPrime are located in the Hilton Oceanfront Resort and lives up to its expectations. Recently redone by some of the best area designers, this lounge is top notch with some of the best ergonomics and acoustics. Your experience will be second to none, i promise. Hinchey's has been locally owned and operated by the Hinchey family for more than 12 years, has a huge local following and gains the respect of visitors by the masses. Within steps to the beach, this venue has live entertainment and seems to keep their patrons till the closing bell (or after). Ya don't have to be a Cubs fan to enjoy the nightly specials and enough beer on tap to satisfy any beer drinker. Remy's is a very familiar name to all the locals, there: new location in Heritage Plaza has put them in the middle of adjacent bars and always brings a great night time crowd. Ahhh, a brand new establishment to get your drink and game on while eating down some small plates. The Blind Pig Saloon is open and promises to be a heck of an attraction. Mainly a beer and liquor bar with little to do with the fruity drinks, the menu is quite enticing. Hot plates include Crab cakes,Italian sausage, chicken and beef sliders, oven roasted wings and warm sides. On the cold plate side of things, look for their smoked trout spread with homemade bread, LOCAL shrimp cocktail and cucumber canapes. In addition several salad choices are available along with some luscious desserts, YUM! SOOO, on to the drink side of things. Domestic bottles will check in at $3 and imports at $4. There will be many beers on draft for the $3 price range and look for it to be poured in a 16 OZ glass. What can I say?? A great diner that is open 24/7 and serves anything on the menu, 24/7. Its 3AM and ya want a cheeseburger fries and a coke? Ok... Ya want a chicken platter with some rice and a glass of milk? Sure can... Some salmon at 4AM with green beans and baked potato to make your mom proud? Yea, you can get that. And lets not forget about that breakfast food either. Bacon, sausage, eggs and hashbrowns are great in the weee hours of the morning. So, late night munchies + Hilton Head Diner = a good call.
